Today, I had coffee with my lunch. But coffee from the Buf Co-operative in Rwanda, served in Colonna sugar dish and Smalls in Bath. They advised me to drink it black: I’m so glad I did because it had this really lemony flavour that was right in the middle of every mouthful. And the hit after drinking it! All afternoon, I felt as if I’d drunk a large glass of wine, rather fast. The effect was to eradicate my guilt at having spent a large sum of money in Mr. B’s Emporium of Reading Delights round the corner. Ideal.
