I grew up in Boksburg High School and was head girl Dr. EG Jansen. I studied at the University of Pretoria where I met my husband Josh. Much later (2008) I at the University of North completed a master's degree in English and Dutch, and received an award for the best MA thesis in English for that year. It was quite special for me because in the same week our daughter, Sylvia, an honor received from the University of the Free State as the top student in the BML class. It's a degree in management leadership. Currently I am working on a doctorate. A Ph.D. in English and Dutch with an emphasis on writing. Its title is Creating spatial dynamics in a novel.

It's really impossible to pick some authors. Maybe the Bible is the great book that all writers can learn from.
