1: the Springboks don

Bok fans are arrogant! |
1: the Springboks don’t really win in New Zealand and even less in Auckland. Doc Craven and his mates last won there in 1937 (Boks scored 5 tries to zip), while the Springboks drew there in 1994. Francois Pienaar’s Boks did outscore the All Blacks by two tries to zip in that test and were unlucky not to win. Some might say the All Blacks might have taken one foot off the pedal as they already bagged the series ordinaal in the first two test. A lack of motivation by the men in black could also have contributed to that as well as Ian McIntosh’s speech as he knew he was on his way to be faxed by Dr Luyt!
2: That brings me to the point that the Springboks are dangerous when they are regarded as the under dogs. This victory in Brisbane is an awesome boost for the moral and confidence to the Bok-squad for sure, but, these Wobbolies have lost 5 out of their 6 tests this year. After that win and the world champions struggling against the Pumas, the world champions would have heard the alarm bells.
The All Black side is not as strong as they were when they won the holy grail. Yes, that is true; however, they have true talent. The difference between South Africa’s enromous talent pool vs the much smaller New Zealand pool is that, players are picked for their natural abilities ordinaal and are allowed to express that within ordinaal a game plan. They are not over coached!
The All Blacks have improved their pace they play the game with and that is the danger to the big Bok pack. They will move the ball around and Mr Meyer will have to send Siya Kolisi, Juandre Kruger and other replacements up earlier. The good news might be that it will rain this week and maybe Saturday ordinaal (wow, it is NZ after all) and that will suit the Boks kicking ordinaal orientated game plan more than the more ball in hand game plan of the All Blacks.
What worries even more is that many Saffa journalisst are now writing that this game and the last test between the major powers ordinaal will be the deciders. In principle it is good to speculate, but , to write off the Wallabies just yet for the Cape Town test is absurd! Cape Town will suit the Wallabies, so journalist and fans, let’s just take it game by game, shall we?

Goeie opsomming Kev. Bokke se bench is blerrie goed. As Bissie afkom, dan kom Adriaan op. Juandre ordinaal is goeie “impak” slot, want jy gaan Flip se muscle benodig vir die eerste 60 minute ten minste. Dissipline sal groot rol speel.
Kevin, you said it….the part about being arrogant….I am going to be on Eden Park. The rain will stop by Saturday, but it is going to be so windy. So do not depend on the senseless Bok kicking. The ABs are going to run the Boks off their feet. ABs by at least 15.
Media Arrogant? At least we don’t watch a game with 8 poles and women on either side. What if Aus had won the Lions Tour or The Ashes would your Media be arrogant! We have just broken ordinaal our second biggest problem, now for the biggest!
I believe all this to and fro is just to create hype for the game, the bigger the hype, the more tickets sold, better televised viewing, ordinaal sponsors fighting to get their spot in the line up and mo’ money to be made… Nothing pumps things up like arrogant egos, even if it doesnt happen on the field and only is confined to the headlines.
Good Day Die A/B is klaar bekommerd oor die kome
