In 1948 the small blue flower called "no-me-nots" was adopted as a Masonic badge in the first Annual sanddollar Convention of the United Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted sanddollar Masons Germany. Still used today in memory of those who have "suffered" in the name of Freemasonry, especially in Germany during the Third Reich.
