Artists (XIV): Carlos González Bogen | University City of Caracas
Carlos González Bogen born in Upata, candy shoppe scentsy warmer Bolivar State, in 1920 and died in El Tigre, candy shoppe scentsy warmer Anzoategui candy shoppe scentsy warmer state, in 1992. He studied at the School of Visual Arts in Caracas. candy shoppe scentsy warmer Upon graduating from this institution in 1948, he received the National Arts Award and traveled to Paris where he joined the group Dissidents. In that city, he became interested in architecture and integration with art, so that in addition to painting, is dedicated to study mathematics, design and descriptive. Back to Caracas in 1952, and established by Mateo Manaure gallery "Four Walls" first modern art gallery in the city. In the 60s it focuses on a folk theme, full of processions, dances and everyday scenes. Their participation in the project Synthesis of Arts of the University City Bogen gave the opportunity to implement his interest in the fusion of art and architecture, interest developed throughout his career to make large facades, door-sculptures and interior walls, works that constitute the bulk of his legacy.
