I grew up in Boksburg High School and was head girl Dr. EG Jansen. I studied at the University of Pretoria where I met my husband Josh. Much later (2008) I at the University of North completed a master's degree in English and Dutch, and received an award for the best MA thesis in English for that year. It was quite special for me because in the same week our daughter, Sylvia, an honor received from the University of the Free State as the top student in the BML class. It's a degree in management leadership. Currently I am working on a doctorate. A Ph.D. in English and Dutch with an emphasis on writing. Its title is Creating spatial dynamics in a novel.
My father was the Reverend. Herman van Schalkwyk dish soap dispenser Boksburg West and my mother, Sylvia, for my English. Later I and his English Dr. EG Jansen given. She was head of department. Yes, I grew up with books. My father had a large library, mostly theological, and my mother introduced us to novels. I read a lot as a child. Afrikaans and English and even German I took in school and university.
It's really impossible to pick some authors. Maybe the Bible is the great book that all writers can learn from. Then of course the classical writers dish soap dispenser Shakespeare and Charles Dickens, Jane Austen, Thomas Mann, etc., which I became well known at university. Inspire many writers me now. Too many to mention. Every really well written book adds new perspectives.
Relationship stories (what I write), and thrillers, short stories. I write spiritual dish soap dispenser work. For example, I write a column on the E Church (www.ekerk.co.za GDP) which prof. Stephan Joubert is the head. I really enjoy
All authors that deliver well written work inspires me. Ie authors who bother with characterization and especially pay attention to ruimtebeelding dish soap dispenser which is very important. I think to Etienne van Heerden, Hans du Plessis, Deon Meyer, Marlene van Niekerk, Irma Joubert, and so on. There are really good writers in this country, even if they write in completely different genres. The point is that they write really well.
lot of hard work. This is not a surge of emotion on paper (now or computer screen) is shed. It requires careful planning, time-consuming, hard work satisfaction from it well.
All writers write from memory and experience. In other words, it is impossible not sometimes characteristics of people who
you know. But I think it's a little immoral to write randomly about people you know. I use mostly characteristics that manifested in my head over the years. Later I do not even know whose property it
We love to travel and travel open certain worlds. Necessarily give you new perspectives. Again, experience and memories come to mind when you write. Experiences during trips and the memories thereof.
Yes, I sing like. I am going to act in a Christmas carols service. I do think there is a possible connection between the two activities while singing voordraend of nature and write again very creative in nature.
Over 40. My latest novel, Summer Snow, was a finalist for the ATKV Word Feather Category Sagas. I also tie this novel on my PhD because I referred to in the thesis. It's a novel of 509 pages that partly takes place in the eastern Free State.

La Beaute is one of Charles Baudelaire

Baudelaire in two types of English |
La Beaute is one of Charles Baudelaire's most famous poems. Here comes his view of beauty as something spiral seashell hard and cold, unapproachable even emerges. It is "like a dream carved in stone" and "like an incomprehensible sphinx".
It is written spiral seashell in the form of an Italian sonnet - two quatrains and two tersines a "volta" in line nine indicating a turn in the poem. The rules are vyfvoetige jambes. spiral seashell
Uys Krige, this verse is translated "before spiral seashell returning to South Africa in 1935," as he says in the "Postscript" from his collection "For spiral seashell the lute and guitar" African Press Bookstore 1950.
You thrones dance l'azur comme un sphinx incompris; J'unis un coeur de neige à la blancheur des Cygnes; Je Hais le mouvement qui déplace lesson Lines, et jamais je ne pleure et jamais je ne ris.
O mortal, I'm clean as a petrified dream. My chest where each beurt'lings him wound, singing my praise, let each inspired poets heart full of love stream ever and ever silence dumb as the dust.
I throne in asuur, a sphinx riddle lost; heart of snow whiteness of a swan facilitations I; i hate the movement that vormrus disturb; and I will not smile and I never weep.
It is remarkable how strange the English from the thirties for a contemporary reader may occur. Words like mortal, spiral seashell every poets, silence dumb, toebeskoor, klaarte etc.. one hardly expected in a modern poem, not to mention conversation language.
Many of the choice of words is probably due to the fact that Krige sonnet rhyme scheme follows and therefore words to get what is the abab rhyme scheme in the first stanza (to Baudelaire's abba). His rhythm are also nearly an iambic pattern.
You realize while reading this poem that English over the past eighty to ninety years a lot has changed. Like most languages, English continued to grow and develop and changing.
I have made my own translation of Baudelaire's spiral seashell poem and decided the rhyme and rhythm patterns completely ignoring and trying to get the essence of the poem in modern spiral seashell English. However, I stuck with the pattern of two quatrains and two tersines. My translation can not be described as a sonnet.
I seat the blue sky like an incomprehensible sphinx; heart white as snow, I give the whiteness of swans; disturbed I do not like motion lines, and I never cry and I never laugh.

Departure time. Contrary to the throne room to find the perfect place for a skin (d) tie sometimes

It was a hard day's jeep toil through the woods but eventually you to outspan. The camp was made and the Germanic fizzy drink slips comfortably into your throat. That's life, the last person in addition to those in your party at least three days' journey ... if you have a good horse. Then it hits you: Tomorrow great as morning at exactly twenty-five minutes past six your stomach does exactly what you box All Bran Flakes promised, and the nearest flush toilet is where you saw last one ...
Do not be caught off guard. Diet, exercise great as and good planning is the key to a successful skin (d) tie. Diet first. Constipation great as is not something you want to struggle when it should be an outdoor number two committed. Eat your all bran and drink enough water. Faithful your hurksitte (squats) at the gym because in the absence of a seat, your thigh muscles to do the job. Incorrect form usually ends up in a very ugly mess at the back of your heels.
Departure time. Contrary to the throne room to find the perfect place for a skin (d) tie sometimes take a little time to get. Plan twice, running one. You will need a shovel to make a hole in which the evidence to the show can be buried, and a roll of white gold. If you wonder why it is called white gold, just wait until you get it in the camp forgotten because you suddenly had to run too fast. Standing in the camp and turn in a circle until you feel the breeze on your face blow, turn 180 degrees and walk in that direction now wind down. Also remember to other kampbewonders in light of your intention (as the Earl and roll white gold under your arm it had not already given away). Both the wind and the warning is there to protect the innocent.
Now you step until you no longer can see the camp. The temptasie great to find a stone cup because of the view, but the hole digging can be quite problematic, so like but at the sandy stretches. Before digging the hole make sure that it is not on or near an anthill for that moment when you're at your most vulnerable is really a bad time to find out why that big red ants balbyters called. Position yourself now so that the exhaust pipe right over the hole with the legs at about a ninety degree angle. This is where diet and exercise you will come in handy. A loose Magic have the tendency to want to fly while a hard magic you shut your eyes go of the pressure and it's not a good idea in lion country. While you balance so you must always great as observe or old dirty beard probably going to get his cold nose against your leg pressure. The perfect result should look somewhat like a twist ice cream.
Close the hole carefully and tie a strip of white gold to the nearest bush to warn other potential customers to the landmine planted already there. For the sake of the innocent. Start now while exercising, perfect skin (d) is much more than squat, press and scrub.
